Project Cost: $2 Million

Duration: 4 Months

Project Overview

The tenant improvement (TI) for Electric Gamebox (now rebranded as Immersive Gamebox) in Utah involved a high-tech build-out at The Gateway in Salt Lake City, transforming a standard retail shell into a digitally-integrated “hyper-immersive” gaming center.

Scope & Highlights

  • The lobby and circulation areas feature a “neon-industrial” aesthetic with heavy use of LED strip lighting, matte black finishes, and digital check-in kiosks to minimize staffing overhead.
  • Required extensive overhead rigging for Lidar sensors and motion-tracking cameras that follow players’ movements via specialized sensor visors.

Outcome

The core TI involved constructing multiple 12×12-foot private pods (Gameboxes) within the suite. Each pod requires specialized projection mapping on all four walls and integrated touch-sensitive surfaces.
