Corporate & Office

Project Cost: $1.5 Million

Duration: 6 Months

Project Overview

The tenant improvement (TI) for the Federal Public Defender (FPD) offices, specifically for the District of Utah, involved a high-security renovation of approximately 31,000 square feet in downtown Salt Lake City.

Scope & Highlights

  • The project followed strict GSA P100 standards, requiring HVAC redundancy, blast-resistant glazing, and ballistic-rated reception areas.
  • The build-out converted a standard commercial shell into private attorney offices, high-density filing areas, and large multi-purpose rooms for training and litigation prep.

Outcome

Due to the nature of the work, the TI required the construction of SCIF-like (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) rooms and sound-rated interview rooms to ensure attorney-client privilege and the handling of sensitive discovery materials.
